Dr. Priit Kasenõmm graduated from the medical faculty of the University of Tartu in 1999. In 2005 he completed PhD studies and in 2008 his residency training in otorhinolaryngology and head and neck surgery. He was a head of the ENT department in the Tartu Univesity Hopsital between 2010 and 2019. He performs rhinoplasties in Kotka Erahaigla Plastic Surgery Centre in Tallinn.
Dr. Kasenõmm’s philosophy in rhinoplasty is to achieve as natural result as possible, preservation of normal anatomy, improvement of function. Remodeling or reorientation of the nasal structures should be preferred over aggressive resections and heavy grafting. He emphasizes that natural results are best achieved using closed approach rhinoplasty, minimally invasive techniques and careful handling of tissues.
